Site Description and Birding Information: This road is 4 to 5 km outside the OFNC 50 km circle but is included here because it has hosted a colony of Sedge Wrens. Watch for a wet meadow on the south side of Trudeau, about a kilometre from the west end and listen for the distinctive song. It prefers wet meadows with some shurbs and margins of marshes. Song is 1 to 3 harsh notes followed by a slow, buzzy trill. Sings both day and night.

Either on the way there, or on the return leg (or both); one can visit the large and productive marsh to the south of the junction of the Bristol Mines and Norway Bay Roads. This marsh is around 4 km outside the circle, but has breeding Virginia Rail, Sora, Marsh Wren, Swamp Sparrow and Black-billed Cuckoo among its denizens.

Ottawa River West: Quebec Route Directions: This was the last site on this route, but if you are very ambitious you can return to Quyon and take the ferry across to Woodridge, between MacLaren's Landing and Fitzroy Harbour on the Ottawa River West Ontario route. This will allow you to follow that route back to the city of Ottawa. However, the ferry only runs when the river is not frozen. If you've already exhausted your time or yourself, the fastest return route is Highway 148 back to the metropolis.
