Site Description and Birding Information: This small (3.4 hectares) park is adjacent the 1838 Collins homestead. Trees lining the river edge, particularly the willows, provide shelter and easy viewing for migrants in season.
Across the road (River Road) from the park is a new man-made drainage feature, perhaps a large ditch, running perpendicular to the road. This may provide some short term habitat. A quick glance should tell.
