The Ottawa Crokinole Club grew out of informal gatherings of casual crokinole enthusiasts organized by Dave Chamberlain from the mid-2000's, into a slightly more formal and serious group of competitive players. In 2009, we participated in our first tournament as a group: the Eastern Challenge, coming second to Bellville.
We are still a fledgling group that has too few members. But we now have a determined core that hopes to have regular matches. No formal schedule has been proposed, but an email distribution list polls members to see who wants to play on a given week.
Some of our members have done well in other tournaments, including a second place finish in the doubles in 2011 in Tavistock by Matt Brown.
