Damon Loomer and Larry Neily played five matches at the Neily home on Feb. 22. Damon had been trying to hook up with us for a while and gatherings kept being put off for one reason or another, so Larry invited him over for some games. The matches turned out to be very even with each player winning 5 match points.

Damon narrowly took the night on round points (21 to 19) and he also had the most crokinoles (18-13). Congratulations Damon, and welcome to the group. Hope you become a regular.

A statistical aside here: notice the value of those 20's - in the 3rd rounds of the matches, Damon had a 5-1 advantage in crokinoles, and ended up with a 10-0 round point victory.
