OCC Match Results

Our latest get together saw four players come out and some great games were enjoyed by all. A discussion re the Eastern Ontario Challenge to be hosted in Ottawa this year was had after the triple round robin was completed.
The results, in tabular form below, show how close the competition was last night. Larry, Matt and Damon were very close. Larry, despite his free shot "handicap", came out slightly ahead in both matches and points, and despite also coming a distant 3rd in 20's.
Of course, nothing is as simple as that. It is interesting to note that though Larry beat Damon (3-0), that Matt beat Larry (2-1), and Damon beat Matt (2-1). Fascinating how it goes.
The crokinoles (20's) for and against is also interesting to note. Though he came out ahead in matches and points, Larry had the most crokinoles scored against him of all 4 players. Hard to figure. But strange things can happen, as I mentioned last time, with small data samples. One or two lop-sided games can do that.
Haley managed to get 4 points from each of the others and showed a deft hand at sinking 20's. This sort of shoot is excellent for her and others who want to play against fairly good shooters in order to improve their games. Kudos to Haley. And where are the rest of you?
